Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is an award-winning wilderness lodge located on the edge of the National Park and is 2 hours’ drive from Launceston and 75 minutes’ drive from Devonport. The 81 guest rooms and cabins and 5 newly renovated suites feature modern interiors and furnishings, with a selection of cabins reveling in views of the majestic Tasmanian alpine wilderness. Each cabin features gas or wood-fired heating, mini-bar, and kitchenette facilities. The suites feature a spa bath and private veranda. A full breakfast is included each morning. Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge offers extensive newly renovated facilities, including 2 restaurants Highlands Restaurant, Tavern Bar & Bistro, Waldheim Alpine Spa, Cradle Mountain Boutique, and conference and event spaces. Highland Restaurant is one of Tasmania’s best fine dining experiences with a locally procured menu. Guests can also enjoy a relaxing casual meal by the fire at The Tavern Bar & Bistro. Waldheim Alpine Spa offers a range of therapies and treatments, along with a steam room, sauna, large hot tub, and cool plunge pool. The surroundings have more than 20 walking trails to explore and suit every level of fitness. Our guest experience agent can assist guests with coordinating activities, tours, spa, and restaurant bookings in advance. To help you fully unwind and enjoy the natural surroundings, our rooms are free from TVs and in-room WiFi. For those who wish to stay connected, complimentary WiFi is available in the lobby.

Please note, there is a 1.4% credit card surcharge when using a credit card.
Please note that Peppers Cradle Mountain Lodge is located in 1600 km of wilderness. Because of the properties location, mobile phone service is limited (Telstra is the only service provider with network coverage in the area) and in-room WiFi is not available due to transmission issues to the cabins. Your room does not have a TV. TV is available in the Tavern, which is open from 11:30 daily. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. The legal guardian must provide a current photo ID or proof of guardianship if requested upon check-in.
A damage deposit of AUD 200 is required on arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
