Spend your next King Island holiday in our quirky, spacious, recently renovated home, conveniently located 900 meters from Main Street Currie. Perfect for families and small groups, this home is an ideal base to enjoy your island getaway. Recently renovated, the home has Starlink internet, ample heating, abundant hot water, a stereo system and comfortable nooks throughout the house.
Hello! I'm your host Liz, a King Island local, and I can't wait to welcome you to our AirBnB in the seaside town of Currie. Your home away from home is situated just 1km out from the town centre. The property can cater to larger groups, with a fully equipped kitchen, 4 bedrooms, a large sunroom with several couches, formal dining for 8, additional craft and game tables, kids furniture, a king bed mattress and 2 foam mattresses on the floor under the kids indoor climbing wall. If you've got kids, they can be fully entertained at home no matter the weather, with a fenced yard, trampoline, indoor climbing wall, TV (including Netflix), sterio, WiFi (Starlink), books, games, puzzles and craft supplies. If you've got any questions or special requests to make your stay more enjoyable, please don't hesitate to get in touch.
Currie is a laid back town, with friendly locals who will give you a wave when they pass. Our house is a short 900m walk from the Currie town center. There is no public transport on King Island, so you will need to organise a hire car or tour if you want to explore more of this ruggedly beautiful island.
