Queen size efficiency suite located in a quiet cul-de-sac in the residential area of Atlantic Shores. A modern and bright room includes your own private bathroom, secluded private garden with sundeck and private entrance. Fridge, microwave, toaster, storage, TV and free Wi-Fi. The Suite has a constant natural breeze and fan and A/C. Secure parking onsite. Affordable accommodation perfect for all vacationers; ideal of work trips or business travelers (10 mins to the airport), or for surfers. 5 minutes from two of the best kite and wind surfing beaches on the island - Silver Sands and Long Beach. Surfing lessons just 2 mins walk away and access to great beginner and intermediate waves there at Freights Bay. A short drive or walk to Oistins where you’ll find all your vacation essentials: shops, a supermarket, banking, bars, restaurants and much more. The famous South Coast hotspot ‘St. Lawrence Gap’ is just a 10-min drive away. Swim, surf, party, wine, dine, explore. Or just simply chill on the deck with an ice-cold drink on The Private Garden Suite
I retired to paradise in 2017 from Canada, a dream of mine since visiting in the 80's, and now I share my love of Barbados with my cats and very friendly dog who would love to welcome you to our home. I love to garden and read and you will find us all on the terrace in the evenings to welcome you back from your day at the beach or the sea. It is so great to meet people from all over the world and share with them the wonders of Barbados as well as hear about their excursions and experiences. People who come to visit always want to come back stating the people are so friendly and the sun, sand and sea are just what they needed! I have made some great friends from the hosting experience and hope to continue for many years to come.
