Our business has changed from a full golf resort to offering accommodations only. So we should remove any reference to the following terms: "golf, resort, restaurant, lounge, clubhouse, bar, dining, etc) from the property details and room descriptions. Otherwise the room offerings haven't changed.
Also, many of our negative reviews and customer dissatisfaction comes from people expecting the crowds and amenities of a high-end golf resort. What we offer are apartments intended to be self-sufficient homes-away-from-home, not a full-service hotel. We are also located in a remote rural part of Newfoundland so we offer quiet, relaxation, scenery, and immersion in nature. Guests who come expecting vibrant nightlife, luxury beddings, fine dining, etc have misinformed expectations. Our six apartments are operated more like vacation properties with pre-arranged contactless check-ins and payments, minimal housekeeping during stay, and no on-site staff (although staff is available on-call within an hour).
Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
