Welcome to Amden high above Walensee. Enjoy your vacation with family and friends in our large 110m2 apartment. We have 4 spacious and comfortable rooms, 2 rooms with double beds and 2 rooms with 2 single beds. This is ideal for larger groups of friends that don't want to sleep in the same room. Most of our guests are 2 families that take vacations together since we have 2 rooms with double beds as parents rooms and 2 rooms with single beds for the children. Your living room faces the south with breath taking views of the mountains on the other side of the valley. After a long days hike enjoy a cold one and relax on your couch or on your balcony. We have up to 2 car parking spots on premise and public parking 1min away.
We are a little family made up of Mama Verena, Daddy Peter and little Boy Benjamin. We like to stay at other airbnbs and also enjoy welcoming guests in our airbnb. The apartment is in the same building we live in. We enjoy being outside living in the mountains. Come and hang out with us! We are readily available for questions or problems that may occur since we live in the same building. You can just come upstairs and ring our doorbell or knock. The structure of the house is mainly wood so you can hear Benjamin running around playing or if he disagrees with our parenting. We have not had any complains about that yet, but if you want complete silence this apartment is not for you.
Your kids will enjoy it here with sand box and toys and play grounds in walking distance. In the winter our area is famous for skiing. We have 2 lifts 5min walking distance from our apartment and a little further up the mountain we have more lifts for adults and 2 pony lifts for kids and ski school. Sledding is also awesome up there and winter hikes are amazing. There are a bunch of Restaurants right on the slopes with amazing views. Far beneath us by Lake Walensee are easy hikes along the water leading to a huge waterfall. Longer hikes are all around us as well. We provide maps for you. One of the main reasons we moved up here is because we are mostly above the fog. Often we have blue sky and sunshine while the rest of the country is buried beneath the clouds. At times it is warmer higher up where the apartment is than down below in the vally.
