"Casa Borgo" is a historic house situated in Locarno's old city, first documented in the city archives in 1550. This house played a significant role in Locarno's reformation in 1555, serving as a secret gathering place for new reformed believers until authorities discovered them. Casa Borgo is now a multi-generational home owned by the Pura family. Its location is adjacent to the public park, "Parco Balli," which once belonged to the property when it was the residence of the renowned Balli family.

Our family is the epitome of a family-run business. Our real estate office is located on the ground floor of our building. Additionally, we used to run a Bistrot that my mother and sister-in-law managed for six years before selling it to a close friend in 2018. To unwind after a long day, I love indulging in spa treatments at "sali marini" here in Locarno. Alternatively, I take walks by the lake or riverside, enjoying the beautiful scenery with my husband and three kids. Luckily, there are many family-friendly locations around us. If I'm in the mood for some socializing, I head to Piazza Grande, where many events are held. Our old town also offers several restaurants and bars, making it an ideal spot to meet new people. One of the many benefits of living in our region is the ability to swim in the river or lake during summertime, during winter, I enjoy ice skating in the skating rink built in Piazza Grande by the city.

Our house is nestled in the heart of Locarno's historic district, complete with winding alleyways and hidden gems at every turn. Despite being situated in a peaceful corner of the old town, the vibrant Piazza Grande, with its array of shops and lively entertainment, is just a mere 110 meters away. We couldn't be more enamored with our beloved city!
