My name is Neva, born and raised in Brione Verzasca, where I still live. My husband loves hiking in the mountains and if he has no other commitments, he is happy to accompany you on excursions to discover the Verzasca Valley, to magnificent places or to very well-equipped alpine huts. Casa Marco was completely renovated in 2020 and is located 20 m from the Osola river, easily accessible; it is a normally quiet river and 250m from the Verzasca river where there are small beaches and lakes where you can swim. Casa Marco has private gardens of 540 square meters, a large outdoor barbecue, a large table with benches for 10 people located in the lower garden. It has all the equipment for comfort in the gardens, such as deck chairs and umbrellas, a covered outdoor veranda with table and chairs, and equipment for excursions in which 3 mountain bags and 3 pairs of treking sticks. The kitchen is super equipped. In the living room you have a wood-burning fireplace. Satellite TV with 121 Channels. Free WIFI. Brione Verzasca is known throughout Europe for the many wonderful areas dedicated to BULDER sports.

Neighbourhood information

The Verzasca Valley is a PARADISE and unique of its kind, probably worldwide, with side valleys, waterfalls and uncontaminated mountains, with medieval cottages even at high altitudes up to over 2000 m. There are rivers and small lakes with water of an incredible emerald color, as you can find them in the Maldives. There are many beautiful waterfalls. The water of the mountain streams is drinkable everywhere; the water of Casa Marco is absolutely excellent, drinkable and NOT chlorinated and comes from an altitude of 2000m, above the village of Sonogno. In the summer you can swim in rivers, as long as the water temperature of about 18 degrees doesn't scare you. The air temperature from mid-May to the end of September is between 25 and 30 degrees. Casa Marco is the ideal place for relaxing holidays, in a very quiet area, with wonderful nature and scenery, FREE from Electrosmog radiation, due to mobile telephony, radio or high voltage lines. It is located 150m from the Center and 250m from the Shop, Post Office, Playground and ATM. Road traffic is very low during the day and practically zero at night. The speed is reduced to 30 km / h.
