The location of Gunten on the shores of Lake Thun and Lake Sigriswil, slightly elevated above the lake, offers a phenomenal panoramic view of the Bernese Alps,
And Lake Thun With its medieval old town and imposing castle, the small town of Thun, at the western end of Lake Thun, is the gateway to the Bernese Oberland. At the other end of the lake, Interlaken Around the lake, there are idyllic bathing spots, Liner boats circulate all year round on Lake Thun and in summer you can also sail on a beautifully restored paddlewheeled steamer. you can sail on the water with your own muscular strength aboard a rented pedal boat. Or would you like to discover the canoe course from Thun (gwatt) to Leissigen by canoe or Stand Up The possibilities of water activities are varied, you can try sailing, wakeboarding, wakesurfing, water skiing, kayaking or something new like Surfski Paddling.
