La Capucine was completed in July 2024. A little oasis in the center of Delémont. A small fortress surrounded by gardens in espaliers. A unique place to escape, slow down and enjoy. A perfect location to explore the region of Jura trois Lacs or Basel. From one night to 90 days at work or on vacations, La Capucine is a new comfort of living. The studio is attached from the main house, build in 1890. Nested in the garden, it is the perfect place to observe the local fauna. The open kitchen is fully equipped, but if there is something missing, please let us know. Entering the renovated part of the house, a workspace and large closet will welcome you to sit down in front of the window facing the terrasse. The bathroom is perfectly oriented south west, with a bath top framed with hand painted tiles by the host.
Since I can remember, always dreamed of having a special place to host. As an artist, I love architecture, interior design and landscaping. La Capucine is infused with all my creativity, from inside out. Tim - I’m a retired engineer who loves to do art and design. We worked hand in hand, with the help of a whole team. A unique expérience!
La Capucine is at the doors of the old town of Delémont. You will find a state theater, an historical museum, some wonderful art galeries, the best chocolat store and design store. There is also some good restaurants like Komashi, the best Japanese in Switzerland. You are in a walking distance from all places. There is plenty of local infos in the studio.
