The Marktgasse Hotel is a historic building with low ceilings and sloped floors (not all rooms). The hotel is situated in Zurich's Old Town, 200 meters from the Grossmünster and 500 meters from Lake Zurich, and boasts free WiFi, free access to a wellness center, a restaurant, and a 24-hour reception. The closest tram stop is 50 meters away. All units at the Marktgasse come with a flat-screen TV with cable channels, air conditioning and private bathroom facilities. Some feature a seating area, as well. A selected buffet breakfast at the delish - la pinseria Restaurant, and dinner may be enjoyed in the IGNIV Restaurant. Several shops and bars can be found within only a few steps. Further hotel amenities include a shared lounge area and a luggage storage room. Kunsthaus Zurich is 400 metres from Marktgasse Hotel, while the Bahnhofstrasse Shopping Street is 400 metres from the property. Zurich Airport is 9 km away.
