Beautiful, rustic, 300 year old chalet with large living and dining room and cozy bedrooms. The apartment has recently been nicely renovated by the owners. Ideal for holidays with the whole family or for romantic holidays. Centrally located on a quiet street with breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, with a large garden and open surroundings. Close to cafes, restaurants and shops. Cross-country ski trail right outside the front door. Many possibilities for excursions.
I like to host people and make it cozy and welcoming for them, so they feel at home and have great time.
There are a miriad of incrediable excursions possible for example. to the Oeschinensee (15 minutes from your doorstep by foot), the famous Blausee (Blue Lake 10 minutes by car), Gemmi Pass, Gasterntal, Allmenalp. Lake Thun and Interlaken are amazing day trips literally only 30 minutes drive away. There are so many possibilities which can be reached quickly. Sports enthusiasts love it here, can go hiking in and around Kandersteg in summer, explore the area on trails by mountain bike, go climbing, paragliding. There is also a swimming pool in the village in beautiful nature. In winter Kandersteg is an El Dorado for cross-country skiers. You can also ski (very suitable with children, it also has a ski school), sledding, skating, etc. . For skiing, you can also easily reach the ski regions of Adelboden and Lauchernalp.
