Surrounded by a large garden, Youthhostel Lugano features an outdoor pool with deckchairs and sunshades, as well as children’s playground and volleyball, badminton and table tennis facilities. It is 3 km from the centre of Lugano. The hostel rooms and dormitories are located in 3 buildings. Each room is functionally furnished and provides free WiFi access. Some rooms comprise a private bathroom, and some rooms come with a shared bathroom and toilet. A buffet breakfast is served. The common areas include a dining area with a view of the garden, a fully equipped shared kitchen, a laundry room, a TV room, and an internet corner. A vending machine with hot and cold drinks and snacks is also available. Free private parking is possible on site. The Lugano Youthhostel is in the vicinity of many restaurants, supermarkets and shops, and a post office, a bank and a pharmacy are all nearby. Lugano Train Station is 2 km away. Guests enjoy free use of all public transport in Ticino during their stay, as well as discounts on several leisure facilities. Please note that a daily surcharge applies to guests who are not members of the Youth Hostel Association.
