Located a ten-minute walk from the town of San Pedro de Atacama in northeastern Chile’s Atacama Desert, known as the world’s driest desert, Habitas Atacama is a refuge for intrepid travelers in search of discovery, adventure and connection, both natural and human. Inspired by Atacama’s phenomenal natural surroundings and regional cultural elements, our home features 51 fully-equipped rooms, a pool, a wellness area and a communal gathering space for intimate events. Our restaurant and bar—centerpieces of our home—will locally source seasonal ingredients and build a native herb garden honoring the flavors of the desert. From breathtaking sunsets to immersive stargazing sessions under the world’s clearest skies, our programming at Habitas Atacama puts nature front and center. In this otherworldly landscape reminiscent of Mars, we participate in countless outdoor adventures, including hiking, biking, mountaineering, paragliding and stargazing.
