Estancia Cerro Guido is the biggest working estancia in Chilean Patagonia with more than 100.000 hectares, it is situated just at 35 km from the famous Torres del Paine national park and from its location is possible to admire the spectacular views to The Paine Massif, Sierra Baguales and to the vast Patagonian steppes. The hotel features 15 classic rooms finely decorated with details that will transport you back in time. Cuisine at The Estancia offers the best of the local flavors using only organic products from our gardens. We have different activities that will allow our guest to discover this corner of the world from different perspectives, ranging from horse- back riding in Sierra Baguales, trekking in Cerro Guido, fly fishing in mythical Patagonian rivers and 4x4 adventures that will take you to the border between Chile and Argentina. LOCAL TAX LAW
Based on local tax laws, all Chilean citizens and resident foreigners must pay an additional fee (IVA) of 19%.
Foreign tourists: to be exempt from this 19% additional fee (IVA) the payment must be made in US dollars and a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented. The passenger won’t be exempt from this fee when paying in local currency. In case of no show the invoice will be billed in local currency, including this additional fee (IVA).
