Neighborhood info

Peyia is steeped in history. At the village centre there are ancient baths and natural freshwater fountains. Peyia Village, only a kilometer away, is the most dynamic growth area in the Paphos District spurred largely by the close proximity to very fashionable Coral Bay and the Akamas National Park. Once a sleepy village, today you can find in Peyia a full range of services and a plethora of superb restaurants appealing to ever increasing international clientele. Want to entertain and looking for a top class caterers- you find an excellent one in Peyia too! The extensive pine forest is to the north of the village. The forest is protected and is a popular picnic area. To the south of the village is the famous Coral Bay, a popular beach resort area with vast stretches of sandy beaches. Coral Bay takes its name after the pink coral deposits which lie further seaward. Peyia enjoys a fantastic panoramic vista to the sea and the Coral Bay. The village features a must-see village square with its array of locally famous restaurants and bars.
