Accommodation Dragonfly is located in the old villa housing development of Cerna Pole, a quiet part of central Brno. The entrance to the accommodation is placed separately in the garden part. Guests will find privacy and relaxation there. There is a fully equipped fitted kitchenette with the possibility to cook. There are a microwave and fridge too. A simple yet elegant room is furnished with a large double bed facing the garden. Bright bathroom with shower includes washing machine and drying rack. The wifi is for free. Parking is available on the street. A bicycle can be rented.
We love meeting new people from all parts of the world! We love travelling too. We based our hosting on our own experience staying at others' accommodation. We don't need luxury but and only absolutely perfectly clean, simply furnished accommodation near the centre, with hot water shower, possibility to cook, work or rest. Parking on the street must be free. Strong wifi connection is essential.
In the suburb of Cerna Pole is not only the gem of functionalism style Villa Tugendhat from Ludwiga Mies van der Rohe (UNESCO) but also Cafe Era or Basic school at Zemedelska street. There is Mendel University and Arboretum nearby. There is a very pleasant walk around Villa Tugendhat via spectacular view at Schodova Street to Luzanecky Park, which was established in 1786 as one of the first public parks in Central Europe. In the season there are plenty of concerts, festivals, possibilities to sport or have a picnic. It is a place to jog, ride a scooter, play tennis, volleyball. Within 5 minutes of walking distance is the local possibility to play squash, bowling, darts, pool or billiard, table football or to visit laser centre or yoga. It is close to local pubs and cafes. There are supermarkets and late opened local groceries too. The centre of town with excellent cafes, bars and nightlife are within 7 minutes by tram number 5. Ask the owner about the possibility to order tickets to culture or other events in the area at the time of your stay. Cycling paths along the Svitava river or walking trails in nearby forests are reachable within 10 minutes by local transport.
