A cosy charming, thatched cottage makes the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle. In an idyllic setting, this cottage which has a double bedroom and twin bedroom makes for a perfect stay for a family or small group. A separate annex / sleeping hut is located in the garden with a small double bed for those who like to sleep even closer to the nature, or for a slightly larger group. The kitchen is fully kitted out and there is a small dishwasher as well as a washing machine. There is a large garden with an outdoor fireplace. The cottage is the perfect place to unwind, slow down the pace and get back to nature. Therefore, there is no wifi or television in the house, but there is a log burning fire in the lounge and books/games on the shelf in one of the bedrooms.

We are an English-Danish couple having lived in London, Paris and Denmark. The property has been in the family for many years and is a little treasure of ours.

There is a large garden at the back of the house which leads to a field and some woods further on. A walking / cycling track (disused railway line) runs from the house a couple of kilometres to the local town called Brenderup which groceries, a bakery and a takeaway pizza place can be found. The property is 5km away from a lovely beach at Varbjerg. A little further away but a short car ride is an old fishing town called Bogense with nice restaurants. The nearest major city is Odense which is 38 km away. Billund airport is 72 km away.
