Enjoy a stay in this unique house, which is full of history and is located in quiet surroundings with a focus on artistic details and lovely nature.
The room, located on the first floor, is bright and cozy. Enjoy a good night's sleep in the large luxury elevation double bed. Also on the first floor, there is a common cozy living room with sofa, TV and gramophone. If you want to watch TV, you can connect your own computer via an HDMI cable. Free WiFi is available throughout the house.
The house's farmhouse kitchen is well equipped and has a cozy dining area.
Breakfast can be purchased additionally for DKK 100 per person. Book with the host the day before.
Bathroom and toilet are located separately and are artistically decorated and an experience in itself.
Kitchen, bath, toilet and cozy living room are shared with any other guests.
Towels and bed linen are included in the price (wash in neutral without using fabric softener).
In the large garden, there are several cozy nooks with garden furniture, a hammock, a hacienda with chairs and a table, as well as an outdoor kitchen and barbecue. These facilities are for free use, but are also shared with any other guests.
Please respect the surroundings and other guests by maintaining a calm atmosphere.
I am a potter and have my own workshop in a separate building and a small shop in the veranda of the main house. You are welcome to look inside the workshop and see what I am doing.
Please note, - when I do a pottery course, the participants also use the main house facilities, toilet and kitchen.
A private ceramics course can be booked in connection with the stay by contacting me in advance.
I want my guests to enjoy the lovely atmosphere and relax during their stay.
Nejlinge is an idyllic village with many half-timbered houses, a small pond and former apple orchard, where our sheep graze with their lambs from spring to late summer.
If you want to go for a walk in the forest, Høbjerg Hegn is just 500m from the village.
Helsinge is the nearest town (1.2km) with many options for shopping, restaurants, swimming pool and take away.
There is a large selection of farm shops and craft workshops in the area. If it interests you, you can contact your host for recommendations.
You can park close to the house. If you arrive by train, Helsinge station is 1.2 km away. There is a bus from the station. The bus stops 200 meters from the house.
