Relax in our charming country house that oozes French charm inside and has a wonderful view over the fields, quiet scenic surroundings and 5 min. drive from the water - but at the same time just outside Holbæk and only 45 minutes drive to Copenhagen.
Enjoy your morning coffee in the sunrise with an enchanting view of the fields or a glass on the terrace with a view to the sunset.
Good to know:
It’s an old house with wooden floorboards so it is always freezing in winter. Therefor, the feet may be cold, so please bring thick socks.
Linen package is not included, but can be purchased for DKK 200 per person
My husband and I live with our 3 children (8, 11 and 15) on a large farm "Godmark" in Store Grandløse outside Holbæk. We have bought the small cozy house next door, which has now become "Godmark Guest House". The guest house is inhabited by family, friends and others who want to enjoy our lovely place.
We love our fantastic place, where our children have plenty of space to play, drive ATV across our fields, play football and tennis, and where we can enjoy nature, the view and the slow life - but at the same time where we in 10 min can sit and enjoy a cold beer at one of Holbæk's lovely sidewalk cafes.
And we want to share that with others. So we hope you would like a visit:-)
My husband, Lars, is a farmer and runs our land, I have a PhD in biotechnology and have a management position in a private company.
As we are neighbors to the house, we can generally be of assistance during your stay, you can either drop by or contact us by phone.
Our charming cottage is located in Store Grandløse, a cozy and quiet little village with 3 farms and 9 houses. It is located 1 km from the nearest town (Vipperød) and 5 km from Holbæk and the nearest beach.
In Vipperød, there is a Netto and a smal super marked, playgrounds and a pizzaria. Holbæk is a larger city with cafe life, lots of shopping opportunities, golf, climbing park and good playgrounds, cinema, art, very active music life and festivals, Hamam, sports village, harbour, lovely restaurants and beach. The city's nightlife includes both pubs, discotheques and drinking bars.
The house includes a private garage, which can be used freely.
Bus 540 runs 500 meters from the house, and the nearest train station, Vipperød, is 1.5 km away, where trains to or Kalundborg and Copenhagen run once an hour.
In addition, there is a 15-minute drive to Roskilde and a 40-minute drive to Copenhagen.
