There is a ferry service from Grenaa (with free long-term parking at the port) and an air route from Roskilde. Check when you can travel to the island before booking a vacation home. The island is almost car-free, as there are only a few kilometers of asphalt road. However, company cars come and permanent residents have cars. Tourists can get a car at selected departures at prices starting from 3,200 DKK. Rental only for holiday lets. Accommodation is not suitable for groups of young people.
