This two-bedroom apartment has about 128 square meters of living space, including a balcony that overlooks the city’s harbor. It is on the seventh floor of a development called the Lighthouse, which opened in 2014 as the third residential component of the Docklands, an ambitious project to refashion the waterfront of Aarhus, Denmark’s second-largest city, with a population of about 300,000. The décor, in typical Danish style, is minimal and modern, with white walls and pale wood flooring.
The building itself was characteristic facade pattern reflects the reflections of light in water.
My name is Assem. I am from Kazakhstan, but I have been living in Scandinavia for almost 12 years now. Together with my husband, we live in this beautiful city in Denmark, called "Aarhus", which was European Cultural Capital in 2017.
I worked for many years in fashion industry, however, now I opened my own online marketplace for upcoming designers, called SOMEFANCYNAME, where, together with my co-founders, we are trying to help the up and coming designers to earn for living by doing what they love the most - designing clothes.
I am passionate about my startup, good food, yoga, walking around the city, and traveling. My most favourite countries that I would definitely re-visit are: Japan, Singapore, Australia, Sweden and Italy.
It would be my pleasure to host you in our beautiful home!
