Imagine having this pool and a huge hot tub to yourself ! Built in the 1800s this beautiful old Cortijo (Spanish Farmhouse) is situated in a peaceful mountain location and boasts a stunning heated infinity pool, hot tub and views out over the mountain tops. For the most part, you will have these facilities to use on your own, so private infinity pool and hot tub ! This property is ideal if you just want to relax, i would say a car is essential for a stay here as we are a 10 minute drive to local amenities which includes restaurants, bars, shops, and some beautiful historic places of interest. With vaulted beamed ceilings, and open fireplaces for the colder months this property is an ideal destination for either a longer relaxing break or a stopover while travelling through Andalusia to explore places like Seville, Granada and Cordoba which are all around an hours drive away. As mentioned the swimming pool is heated so you can swim even in the winter months, we have oil central heating and a wood burning stove in your own private sitting room so you can snuggle up in the evenings with a glass of wine and Netflix after exploring our beautiful surroundings.
Love living in this beautiful location, and everyone that visits us wants to come back. Please be aware we do have 3 overly friendly spaniels so if you are not a dog lover this may not be the place for you. The dogs will not be allowed in your own private spaces but they do live here and they believe everyone that comes here only comes here to see them, so they will want to say hello to you ! and their dinner time can be a little vocal !!! :-)
We are situated 10 minutes drive from Villanueva del Rosario, Villanueva del Trabuco, and Archidona, we are about 25 minutes from Antequera. The property is ideally situated for walkers and bikers with quiet tracks leading up and down the mountain. We are approximately 40 minutes drive from Malaga Airport and of course the Costa Del Sol if you fancy spending some time on the coast. Please also note that we have a two bedroomed luxury apartment in Benalmadena Pueblo so if you would like to do some time in the Mountains and some time on the coast, subject to availability we can organise this for you.
