Company information

Hello, we are Kinga and Kevin, and we are delighted and proud to welcome our guests to our Muotkan Ruoktu village. We simply have fallen in love in this place and take it over from from 91 years old Saami, Hans. We are here by passion for the sustainable and mindful tourism aiming to explore the true Lapland. Both of us are passionate arctic guides, and we have chosen to create our travels and accommodation in Muotka by passion for the breathtaking scenery of the place and the authenticity of the place, both becoming more and more rare in the modern world. Kinga (Polish, 40) is a life coach and avid traveler who embarked in Lapland after her World Trip where she exploring some of the wildest and most stunning places around the Pacific Ocean on foot, horse, and bicycle (Patagonia in Chile, Tasmania in Australia, Cordilliera Huayhuash in Peru). She decided to leave all internatinal carreer behind to establish an adventure company and live along with passion for human adventures. Kevin (French, 34), an adventurer and freestyle skier in the French Alps, spent a significant portion of his life dedicated to his passion and professional career, flying helicopters in the special forces of the French Army. He has chosen to quit everything behind to live in unspoiled nature and create expeditions on snowmobile to the most remote places in Lapland and connect with local people. Today, Muotkan Ruoktu is a base camp to receive the other passionate people searching for authentic places and memorable adventures. We welcome people here as our friends and often share our travel experiences around fireplace or a cup of warm "arctic berry" tea! Our best reward, is the client smile and a feeling of living a true experience.
