Location, location, location. This chalet penthouse is literally in the middle of Tahko services and with a panoramic view to the slopes. Everything is in walkable distance including the lifts to the slopes. The chalet is however quite small and optimal for max 5- 6 people. Not recommended for families with small children due to two floors and very steep stairs to upstairs.
Tahko is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts, like myself. Downhill skiing, telemark skiing, x-country skiing and all kind of snow activities are available during winter time. For those with more petrol in their vains, ski-doo safaris and driving-on-ice -school may sound invigorating too. Sometimes it is nice to take a day off from wintersports and spend entire day in the spa with swimming pools, hot tubs and spa treatments. Horseback-riding is also a popular spend-time for both winter and summer seasons. During summertime 2 full size golf courses are next to the Tahkonloft and the area has also plenty of MTB-trails as well as a lake with watersports opportunities. You can also play tennis or padel. There is also padelhall, so you can play it also in winter. Whatever your favourite hobby may be, I guarantee that you can find it from Tahko.
The property is in the middle of Tahko services, between the slopes, golf course and spa. Closest restaurant Ukkotahko is less than 100 meters away and Piazza, Sokos Hotel and other services not much farther. Still the neighbourhood is pretty quiet and peaceful.
