Hello. We are situated in the beautiful countryside of St. Julien de Lampon, in the Valley of the Dordogne. There are far reaching views of beautiful countryside and mountains from the garden, and the upper and lower terrace. All the bedrooms are bright with comfortable beds and seating areas. Every room on the property has a view of the garden and stunning countryside from every window. Each bedroom has a large, bright, private shower room. Wall mounted televisions in every bedroom, free wi-fi and a hairdryer are available to you. Breakfast is served on the upper terrace with views of the garden and surrounding country side. If the weather is not suitable for outdoor dining there is an interior dining room and a communal living room, with comfortable seating for reading and relaxing. There is a terrace with comfortable seating with extensive views, to experience the stunning sunsets or the equally stunning night skies. There is a large stone built communal barbeque and a fire pit with a rustic bench in the garden. There is lower terrace with a bench table and comfortable seating area with a small communal kitchenette with free coffee and tea making facilities, microwave and fridge. Also for your convenience there is a summer kitchen area with table and chairs, fridge and a plancha gaz. We are 1500m from the centre of the village which has a bar restaurant, boulangerie, post office and pharmacist for your convenience. We are 2km from the Dordogne River, with facilities to rent canoes and bikes. A Cycle path which runs alongside to many pretty villages, including the historical and magnificent town of Sarlat.

We are situated 1500 metres from the centre of the village of St Julien de Lampon. A 20 minute walk, a short cycle ride or a 3 minute car drive. There are many facilities in the village including a Boulangerie, Epecerie and a Pharmacy. Le Bar St Jus is a Bar/Restaurant, serves good food throughout the day and evening in the summer months and has live music in the evenings with local musicians. There is a market in the village every Thursday morning selling fruit, home, cheeses and much local produce. We are 2km from the beautiful river Dordogne, There are canoeing companies where you can rent a canoe, natural beaches along the river where you enjoy a picnic or take a barbecue in the sun, sunbathe or have a swim in the river. Alongside the river there is a cycle/walk path (there are facilities to rent cycles) the path runs between Sarlat and Soulliac and is aprox 30km. There are villages en-route where you can stop for a cold drink along the way. The historical City of Sarlat is 15km from St. Julien de Lampon, is a must visit with its architecture, restaurants and street markets on Saturdays and Wednesdays.
