I have been living in Chamonix for 18 years and love it! Great place to live and bring up a family. I teach skiing and I have been renting properties in Chamonix with our travel company - High Mountain Holidays - since I have been here and now have a range of self catered chalets and apartments that are second to none and all offer facilities you would expect in any quality rental property plus fantastic views and easy access to the lifts and activities around the valley. Chalet des Lacs is a fantastic wood and stone chalet with a real alpine feel, sleeping 10 in 5 bedrooms. Its open fire, sauna, spacious lounge/dining area and great location combine to make it a perfect chalet for families or large groups. Chalet key points: • Private parking • Sauna • Large modern kitchen • Open fire • Free WiFi, TV, DVD and UK Satellite • Comfortable & spacious lounge area • Fantastic terrace with incredible views It has a large garden around the house with a raised terrace in front of the dining area offering great views & a fantastic spot for après drinks & a BBQ. Lower ground floor has sauna, shower & WC, garage with ski & boot storage + washing machine & dryer. 1st floor has a modern kitchen separated from dining/lounge area by a breakfast bar. Lounge/dining has stunning views at one end & open fire at the other plus TV, DVD, UK Sat & stereo. Bathroom with shower, WC & heated towel rack. 2nd Floor, 2 bathrooms 1 with bath, WC, basin, the other has shower, WC & basin. 4 bedrooms, 1 double 2 twin OR double & bunk room. Mezzanine has a double bed

Neighbourhood information

If you like beautiful mountains, being active and charming towns then Chamonix should be on your wish list. Throughout the winter months (end of November to early May) snow sports dominate the town and its visitors. With 5 skis areas in the valley plus 4 dedicated beginner areas & the magnificent off-piste from L'Aiguille du Midi guest are never short of options. Through Spring Summer & Autumn there are more things to do then there are days in the year. From the classics such as hill walking, climbing and mountaineering through to more modern sports of mountain biking and trail running plus golf, tennis, rafting and other water sports. Whichever time of the year and whatever your reason for coming to Chamonix we are here to help you maximize your time.
