Nancy is from California and Pascal is from Normandy. We settled in Chasteuil over 30 years ago. We know the area inside out and can recommend the best routes and activities to do in the area. We live here and work from home, so we are always there to help you. We are also discreet and sensitive to allow you to maintain your privacy.

Chasteuil, a charming village whose origins date back to the 16th century, is perched on the side of a mountain at an altitude of 900 metres, bathed in the warm southern sun. From this idyllic spot, visitors can admire the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon, renowned for its canyons, hiking trails, rivers and white water sports, lakes and natural beauty. It is here that Pascal and Nancy have lovingly transformed the old village school and town hall into a haven for travellers from all over the world. With a passion for hospitality and a deep appreciation for the beauty of the area, they have created a unique and welcoming space for guests to relax and recharge. Whether you are looking for adventure or simply a peaceful retreat, Chasteuil is the ideal destination. Neighbourhood information

Chasteuil, whose origins date back to the 16th century, is a small hamlet of 20 inhabitants perched on a mountainside at 900 metres above sea level with good southern exposure. From its picturesque location, it overlooks the entrance to the Gorges du Verdon, famous for its canyon, hiking trails, river, white water sports, lakes and natural beauty. CHASTEUIL is : - 20 minutes from Castellane. - 1 hour from Moustiers Ste Marie, the earthenware town. - 1 hour from Grasse, the city of perfume. - 2 hours from Nice and the Nice Côte d'Azur airport. The Gorges du Verdon and the Point Sublime* are a 20 minutes drive from Chasteuil. *The Point Sublime offers a spectacular view of the entrance to the canyon, where the Verdon flows between the two cliffs. Castellane is a 20-minute drive away. There are bars, a supermarket, restaurants, banks, an ATM, a post office, petrol stations... The open-air market takes place on Wednesday and Saturday mornings in the beautiful Place Marcel Sauvaire - the heart of the action in Castellane.
