The property is very large, what one could call a "Maison de Maître"... It has a lot of charm. The colors of the walls are soothing, and the designer objects and furniture blend harmoniously with the antique pieces. The terrace is a real plus when the weather is nice, the various seating areas allow for rest, reading, contemplation, or even meditation... The diversity of spaces allows everyone to isolate themselves at leisure, and the volume of the rooms makes you feel comfortable even in winter!
I started this bed and breakfast activity north of Lyon in 2020 and enjoyed it so much that I decided to continue. The opportunity to welcome guests into my children's beautiful property immediately delighted me. I love this house so much and the peace it has brought me that I want to share it. Calm, charm, kindness, that's what I feel capable of transmitting here!
The accommodation is located in the heart of Romorantin-Lanthenay. The market hall is 30 meters away and offers fresh, local products every Wednesday and Saturday. Refined shops offer their gourmet groceries and specialties. If needed, several beauty institutes and hair salons are able to take care of passing guests. Finally, for dining, several establishments offer varied and quality menus for both lunch and dinner, just a few minutes' walk away. Other attractions: A stone's throw away, the MATRA Automobile Museum exhibits its old models, and for lovers of fresh air, the Beauvais Ecopark opens its gates from 8 am to 8 pm in summer to allow visitors to identify animal tracks, its fifteen varieties of trees, the songs of its birds, and the inhabitants of its pond. The Sologne Museum, located on Quai de l'île Marin, reveals to anyone interested in history why Romorantin almost became a royal city during the time of Francis I! As for the numerous surrounding castles (extensive documentation is available for tourists), they help to perceive Sologne and the Centre Val de Loire as the main wealth of our heritage and the perfect testimony of our history! At 29 km you will find the Château de Valencay, at 32 km the Château de Villesavin, at 36 that of Beauregard, at 40 that of Chambord, at 44 the Cathedral of St. Louis de Blois, and at 28 the Château de Cheverny!
