This quaint village is renowned for its array of exceptional dining options and cozy cafes, including the prestigious Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Champ des Lune. Every Monday, a bustling local market fills the streets with vibrant colors and enticing aromas. Within mere moments of strolling, visitors can stumble upon two delightful bakeries, well-stocked grocery stores, and a traditional butcher shop. For a more extensive shopping experience, a Hypermarket is conveniently situated just a quick 5-minute drive away, ensuring a top-notch supermarket visit. Nestled a mere 4 kilometers from Lauris lies the enchanting village of Lourmarin, beckoning visitors to explore its unique charm and beauty.

Photographer - Designer - Perfume producer - The self contained studio is on he ground floor with its own entrance and we live in the floors above with our own entrance door. So we ae almost always available, but out of sight!

Lauris is a beautiful provencal hilltop village crowned with a XVIII° Century chateau which contains a park and botanical gardens. The village has numerous excellent restaurants and cafes including the Michelin starred Le Champ des Lune. There is a local market on Mondays and there are two boulangeries and epiceries and a butcher within a one minute walk and even (dare we say) a Hypermarket 5 minutes drive away the in the best supermarket setting you can imagine. Lourmarin, another charming village is 4km away. Market, Monday a.m. Walking. Hiking and Mountain Biking. Fishing. Tennis. Horse riding. Patanque. Skate-board area. Healthy trail in the Roquefraiche wood (1,8 Km). Antiques fair, whitsun Saturday. 1st Saturday in February, Candlemas and wine fair. Opera, last fortnight in August. Fete the 1st Sunday in August (...and the following days...!). Aix en Provence is 45mins away and Avignon is 50 mins away. Marseille airport 50mins - Avignon airport 40mins - Aix en Provence TGV - 40mins - Avignon TGV - 45mins
