There are 3 suites with a bath or a shower, and one luxury double bedroom bath and en-suite with shower at Champagne House. All suites are Champagne themed with a mix of individual items to reflect this. Each suite/bedroom is soundproofed and has a large wardrobe and storage space, quality linen, towels, bathrobes, shower gel/shampoo, hair dryer and Wi-Fi connection. They can be locked for your comfort and security.
All our suites have two interconnecting rooms providing an extra single or double bed and seating area.
Built around 1760, this private house (340 m2) is steeped in history, but unfortunately the property had fallen into disuse and remained unoccupied. With a little love, care and attention in 2021 and 2022, this property has now been restored to its former glory, with its original architecture, parquet flooring, oak planks and character features. Today, the property has a champagne theme and features an eclectic mix of French antiques, contemporary pieces and Moroccan touches.
Just outside the building you will find a bakery, bars, the river Baise, 2 gourmet restaurants within walking distance, a cinema, a theatre, a local distillery etc. A little further afield you will find a park or the central walkway through the town leading to the magnificent St Peter's Cathedral with its incredible statue of the four musketeers, a museum, shops, local exhibitions, restaurants and bars to suit all tastes. There are supermarkets and a twice weekly market nearby for all your catering needs.
Around the Maison Champagne, the Gers offers a rich cultural, artistic, gastronomic and oenological ecosystem to discover. Land of d'Artagnan, foie gras, Armagnac and producers, local and seasonal products can be found everywhere in Gascony, in restaurants and inns, on the market stalls, at the winegrowers' and Armagnac breeders'.
We will be able to open the most beautiful cellars and estates of the department for you. A land of encounters and history, classified as a Great Site of Occitania, you can discover in the Gers, the Abbey of Flaran, the Gallo-Roman villa of Séviac, the round bastide of Fourcés.
