Come and stay in our newly refurbished house situated at the Hampton end of Herne Bay. Its a comfortable homely environment with ample space to relax, both inside and outside. Just 5 minutes walk from the beach. With easy access to Herne Bay Pier, Tankerton and Whitstable the house is ideal for walkers and cyclist alike. With a short drive, visit the historic city of Canterbury, the seaside towns of Broadstairs and Ramsgate, or the beautiful Joss Bay.

The Space: Light and airy, with all the comforts of home, including a fully equipped kitchen, washing machine, dishwasher and Wi-Fi throughout the house. The house is situated in a very peaceful location with a secluded garden with hammock, table & chairs, sunbeds and comfortable seating to relax and unwind. On sunny days the garden benefits from all day sunshine as well as shade provided by the palm trees. The house sleeps 6 with three bedrooms, ideally suited to 4 adults and 2 children. The master bedroom comprises of 1 x king size bed with deluxe Simba mattress and ensuite bathroom. Second bedroom comprises of 1 x double bed with deluxe Simba mattress and ensuite toilet. The third bedroom comprises of 1 x bunk bed (with two full size single beds). The ground floor features a large open plan lounge with 50" TV, two & three seater sofa's and a large dining table with seating for 7 people. Leading on from the lounge resides a conservatory with views of the garden, it’s an ideal space for reading and playing games! Other rooms comprise of a spacious well equipped open plan kitchen with breakfast bar & table. A large downstairs shower room and toilet. For the safety and security of the building there is camera overlooking the driveway. There are no other cameras installed around the building - we respect the privacy of all guests.

Local Attractions: Whitstable Harbour is a fully fledged working harbour with a unique twist. Simply watch the world go by as fisherman set sail, enjoy a wander around the harbour village or try the fresh seafood on offer including the world-famous Whitstable oyster! Joss Bay: A popular sandy beach sheltered by steep chalk cliffs and backing on to the North Foreland golf course. Stretching for around 200 metres this is a great family beach with all the facilities close at hand. UK's largest network of civilian wartime tunnels! Ramsgate’s Tunnels Explorer tours take you deep underground to unlock the story of a hidden city, which evolved from the largest and only known Civilian Deep Shelter Air Raid Precaution scheme authorised by Central Government. Reculver - The imposing twin towers of the medieval church at Reculver dominate the skyline of Herne Bay, acting as a navigation marker for ships at sea. This was the site of one of the earliest Roman forts built against Saxon raids on the 'Saxon Shore'. It later became the site of an Anglo-Saxon monastery before becoming the parish church for Reculver. The tall towers were built in a remodelling of the church in the 12th century. Broadstairs - Find clifftop walks and independent shops lining unspoilt streets. The town was Charles Dickens’ favourite holiday spot and his legacy includes Dickens House Museum. Like your food? Canterbury - One of the most beautiful historic cities in the country and, as home to a UNESCO World Heritage Site, attracts history lovers from all over the world.
