    The place has a beautiful setting and was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I'd definitely come back and stay a couple of nights. They also allowed us to store our bikes in a side alley out of sight.

Arduthie House is a large Georgian house in the heart of the beautiful coastal town of Stonehaven. It has elegance and style and offers a quality resting place throughout the year. It also provides a wonderful guest lounge where you can relax in luxurious comfort.

Neighbourhood information

Stonehaven has so much to offer as a holiday destination. In the summer months we have the open-air swimming pool with its 'midnight' bathing on some evenings, a land train that will carry you up to Dunnotar Castle (and back), numerous fairs, markets, and concerts, and a gorgeous coast line which you can explore. For the rest of the year there is sumptuous countryside all around with myriad walks for all abilities. It's also a good starting point for the Castle Trail and the Whisky Trail with Dunnotar Castle within striking distance and the Fettercairn Distillery close by
