Hi, my name is Peter, and I will be hosting you during your stay at the Bandroom cottage. I live and work as a joiner here in Kirkby Stephen. I decided to branch out in the hospitality sector and to scale down my joinery business. I converted my workshop into this holiday accommodation, which I hope you will enjoy. I enjoy the great outdoors - walking the local paths and moors and cycling the amazing network of bridleways and byways here in the local area. There is so much to see and do straight from the door. Kirkby Stephen is a traditional Cumbrian market town, set in the beautiful Eden Valley, in close proximity to the Yorkshire Dales and Lake District Nation Park. Awarded ‘Walkers Welcome’ status with Wainright’s Coast to Coast Walk, Lady Anne’s Way and the Walney to Wear cycle route running through the town.
