In the heart of Nairn, The Bandstand is a great base from which to visit the Highlands of Scotland. The charming traditional pub was once again named CAMRA Highlands and Islands’ Pub of the Year for 2025 (following wins in 2020, 2022 and 2024!) and is Cask Marque accredited – and its popular events such as the Bandstand Beer and Music Festival have been recognised by the Scottish Hospitality Awards. The hotel’s Sea View Restaurant offers fresh seafood, steaks and traditional Scottish cuisine, with gluten-free, vegetarian and vegan options available. A cosy fire glows in the guest lounge over winter months, and come summer, the beer garden is the perfect place to soak up the sun. Dogs get a very special welcome in the bar with free biscuits, and can stay in the guest rooms on request. From traditional acts to rock bands and vinyl DJs, a fantastic variety of musicians provide regular entertainment, and it’s over to the local community every week for the Bandstand’s Sunday Session open mic night.
