Since settling together on the Steading in beautiful Ballater, we have combined our passions and expertise to build this spectacular cabin for all to enjoy! We are also avid mountain bikers, climbers and kayakers. All activities that are right at the doorstep of the cabin!

At the steading, we are trying to build unique, low-impact sustainable holiday accommodations, with high-quality design and materials for our guests. The Forest View Cabin is the second of these accommodations. The Cabin can sleep up to 4 guests, 2 on the king-size bed on the ground floor and 2 in the double loft bed. Boasting an environmentally friendly design and includes features such as an eco shower. It encompasses comfort, functionality and luxury in a magnificent sustainable design. There is also a shared hot tub that all our guests are welcome to use at the steading. The perfect way to end a day exploring the local area!

The Cabin is perfectly situated to access all that the Cairngorms and Royal Deeside have to offer. Walking trails, hiking, golf, mountain biking, skiing and other outdoor activities are all on your doorstep. The accommodation is located a mile and a half to Ballater. You can either drive or walk along the much loved 7 bridges walk to get to the village. Balmoral and Royal Lochnagar Whiskey distillery are only 6 miles away.
