Situated in an area of AONB near Chipping Norton, this wonderful annexe is the perfect place to stay. We are in the heart of the Cotswolds with many walks, cycle routes, pubs, beautiful towns & villages close by. The annexe, which is surrounded by beech trees and flowers, is spacious and cozy. It boasts a comfortable king size bed, lovely shower, brilliant wood burner & well equipped kitchenette with a variety of teas & coffees. It’s the ideal place to come & explore the beautiful Cotswolds.
We are both from the UK and love the countryside. We like to explore the local countryside and towns.
We are animal lovers with a gorgeous rescue dog , rescue cat & rescue ex battery chickens ( & some bantams ! ) We also have 3 little girls too.
Please note reviews from 2017 and earlier were when we let out a room in Burford. We moved to near Chipping Norton in 2019 & built a new annex in 2021.
We live in the main house and are around and about if you need us. If we are away, we will let you know
We are in the heart of the Cotswolds. Chipping Norton is 2 minutes away, Stow on the Wold, Moreton on the Marsh & The Tews are 10 minutes away. Bourton on the Water, Burford & Blenheim Palace are in easy reach and many more stunning Cotswold places. The beautiful villages of Kingham and Churchill are just down the road. Cornwell Estate, Sarsden & The Great Rollright Stones are nearby, along with Daylsford Organic (6 minutes away ) Soho Farmhouse (10 minutes ) and Diddly Squat Farm Shop a mere 5 minutes away! Cheltenham ( Cheltenham Races) and Oxford are easily accessible too.
We are ideally located for The Big Feastival, Wilderness Festival, Corn-bury Festival & Blenheim Palace events.
A car is recommended to get around, however the area is also popular with cyclists. Cycle hire is available from Chipping Norton. There are a couple of walking routes from the house but please be aware in peak times the roads can get busy.
There’s also bus & train links. Kingham is our nearest train station 3 miles away, which serves Paddington and Oxford. There are taxi services based in Chipping Norton. Please ask for further information for getting out & about.
