Property information

Cubbon House is an Edwardian building located in the heart of the Capital of the Island on Douglas Promenade, adjacent to the main shopping area, only a few minutes walk from main Financial area, Sea Terminal, Victorian Gaiety Theatre and Villa Marina entertainment complex. Horse drawn trams (summer season only) and buses stop outside so sightseeing & exploring around the Isle of Man without a car is easy. We have 8 rooms which are all en-suite, we offer tea & coffee making facilities, fresh bottled water stocked daily. mini fridges, hair dryer, flat sceen TV,s and free Wi-Fi through-out.There is a welcome pack in your room which gives you lots of tourist information. On the ground floor we also have 4 separate businesses. Beauty Salon Good for you, run by Mila Hairdressing salon, run by Yun. Massage Therapy, Loose Knotts run by Liz. Unisex Gym Unique Fitness Solutions run by Jillian. All the contact information for these can be found in the entrance of the Cubbon House, you can contact them each directly for times and prices.

Neighbourhood information

We are ideally located on the promenade of the Island's capital of Douglas, adjacent to the main shopping area, we are 5 mins walk from the Sea-Terminal. which is ideal if you are travelling by Boat, 20 minutes from the Airport if you are traveling by car or bus. If you are visiting the Isle of Man for pleasure, Douglas is the center for entertainment, sport and transportation. From the Cubbon House, a wide variety of restaurants, cafes, wine bars and pubs which are all within a walking distance. For sightseeing without the use of a vehicle, the Horse drawn Trams (summer season only) and the buses stop right outside our front door, during the summer months you can explore the Island, the North of the Island visiting places like Laxey, Snaefel, and Ramsey by the Electric Trams and south of the Island, visiting places Castletown, Port Erin and Port St Mary's by Steam Railways. Should business be the reason for your visit, the majority of the Isle of Man's companies are located in Douglas, the Cubbon House is in the center of the town, you can visit a large number of them on foot which is very time efficient.
