Wonderful Beaumaris, with its moated castle, unique shops, cafes, and pubs, is only three miles away. You may travel 3 miles in the opposite way to reach Menai Bridge, which has an iconic suspension bridge, lovely footpaths, and a range of dining options, including a Michelin-starred restaurant. The town has its own lake for coarse fishing and is conveniently located near a vast network of pathways. One favourite is to make the inclining descent to the Gazelle hotel for a pint.
