Company information

Welcome to the Galapate Group from the Scottish Borders. Our Galapate story began when we took over the Ladhope Inn, Galashiels in 2005, followed by the Auld Mill Inn in the town centre in 2008. More recently, we were delighted to add the Dryburgh Arms to our collection and in April 2018, following extensive refurbishment and improvements, we re-launched this lovely Pub with Rooms in Newtown St Boswells. Each of these establishments has a real sense of history within the towns that they are located, in fact the Ladhope Inn dates back to 1792. All three can be described as local landmarks in their own right and have historical significance which is very important in our local communities. Whilst improvements have been made, changes have been sympathetic to the old buildings and their traditional values. We are immensely proud of our Scottish Borders roots and are a hard-working, family owned business which cares passionately about each of our establishments and the local communities that we serve. From the ongoing support of local sports clubs to community events that are held in each of the pubs, our local pride comes shining through.

With a cosy open fire and an equally warm welcome, we have a fine selection of local ales and spirits. Now complete with our three lovely rooms upstairs (ONE FLIGHT OF STEPS) with superking size comfy beds for your extra comfort and decorated in heathery tones. All rooms can be twin beds. Our fabulous Manager Leanne and the Team at Dryburgh Arms are always on hand to look after you and will make sure you have everything you need and whilst check in is from 5pm you can gain access earlier using our key safe. Whilst our rooms are booked on a room only basis breakfast is available for an extra charge. There is on-street parking. To avoid contact there is no make up of your room on multiple night stays at present, but this can be done on request and clean towels and linen will always be provided.

Situated right on St Cuthbert's Way walking route and overlooking the Eildon Hills its a perfect spot for walking or cycling... the list is endless with fishing and golfing nearby. WE ARE A WET SALES PUB ONLY and do not provide evening meals but we can recommend local restaurants and help with transport if needed.
