The village of Windermere is within 2 minutes walk from the guest house. Also the World of Beatrix Potter is 15 minutes away in Bowness, where all lake cruise boat trips leave from. If you want to do some walking the viewing point of Orrest Head is closeby. There are plenty of restaurants, cafes and bars covering all tastes.
