We bought Headlands in June 2005 and since then we have made a great many changes to the guest house. Over the years, as our family has grown, we have had to make some changes to the day to day running of our business, the facilities offered and the general lay out of the guesthouse. All the changes have been made to try and balance our work & home life but also with our guests at the front of our minds to ensure that we remain true to our ethos of great value, clean and comfortable accommodation. Therefore, we are "room only" accommodation for individual reservations (a takeaway breakfast bap is available as an option extra for group bookings). Our check in is contactless (via a lock box) as is our check out - however, we live on the premises so we can be on hand to be able to help our guests with any queries or issues that they may have. All of our rooms have been modernised and decorated over the years in order that we can ensure our guests enjoy a comfortable stay with us. Our ensuite bathrooms are small but functional, all our double beds are a standard 4ft6" and have the same quality mattresses that we sleep on in our own home - we believe that a comfortable night's sleep is key to an enjoyable holiday.

Headlands is a smoke-free property Headlands has six ensuite rooms available - four on the first floor and two on the second floor. Please be aware that there are no lifts at Headlands so all rooms are accessed via a communal staircase. All guestrooms are individually furnished, have complimentary tea & coffee making facilities and LCD TVs with digital channels. Whilst there is no onsite parking, there is free, unrestricted parking on the surrounding roads (Avenue Road, Melvill Road, Gyllyngvase Road &Terrace). There is also 24 hour off road parking in The Dell Car Park which is approximately 200 metres from the guesthouse - tickets can be purchased for short stays and also long stays (24 hour and weekly tickets are available). The Dell Car Park also has two EV chargers. For guests arriving by public transport, Falmouth Town train station is approximately 250 metres from Headlands. This station is on the Falmouth to Truro branchline - it is a 25 minute trip to Truro by train and the trains run every half an hour Monday - Saturday and hourly on Sundays.

Headlands is at the top of Avenue Road (TR11 4AZ) - by crossing over to Gyllyngvase Road you can be on Gyllyngvase Beach within a couple of minutes walk. Gylly Beach Café is open daily throughout the year, serving breakfast, lunch & evening meals. Take a walk along the seafront and you will come to Castle Beach Café - again open daily in high season. Head down Avenue Road to the start of the town centre to find other options for breakfast: Windjammer & Fuel are both within an easy walk of Headlands. There are also a number of bakeries our end of town. Just opposite Windjammer is the National Maritime Museum. Heading into Falmouth town centre you follow the harbour and the high street is filled with lots of independent retailers and places to eat & drink. Heading out the other end of town you reach The Prince of Wales Pier - where you can catch a ferry to St Mawes, The Helford & Trelissick Gardens.
