My name is Sam and I live next door to the cottage. I am available for any help at most times. Although we live next door, the buildings make it that you rarely see us or hear us, you have your own secluded area. No other houses are up our lane, so peace and views is all you will get.

The busy seaside resort of Barmouth is squeezed into the small amount of habitable space between the hills and the water on the North side of the Mawddach estuary as it reaches the sea. Barmouth Map & Directions Barmouth is the start and finish of the Mawddach Way and the start (or finish) of the popular Mawddach Trail which runs along the old Barmouth to Dolgellau railway line. Barmouth has plenty of shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and ice cream parlours. It can be very quiet outside of the summer months with some of the cafes and restaurants closed, but there is always somewhere to find a meal or a snack, and some would argue that this is the best time to visit. The iconic Barmouth railway bridge, just outside of the town, is one the most photographed and instantly recognisable features in all of Wales. Bike Hire is available in the town. Due to our location, the bus stop is half a mile down our lane and the train station is 2 miles away. Most of our guests come by car, but we have had a few that have managed by public transport.
