Amanda & Rob welcome you to come and stay with them in their 17th Century Guest House. We are situated only 100 metres from the beautiful town centre of historic Jedburgh, and moments from the Abbey, the old castle gaol and Mary Queen of Scots House. All of our bedrooms have stunning views over the town

Meadhon House We provide bed & breakfast in accommodation to suit most parties, comprising of Superior Superking, Standard Double & Twin rooms which all boast En-Suite Shower rooms. The en-suite rooms offer a high level of comfort, including hospitality trays, flat screen TV’s (all smart TV's so bring your TV log-in's with you for Netflix, Disney etc!) and free Wi-Fi access. Jedburgh is ideally situated for touring the many border towns, historic sites and gardens. We are close to many golf courses including Jedburgh golf course, Roxburghe Hotel Golf Course and Cardrona golf course. We offer a welcome rest to weary walkers on the many walks in the area, including St Cuthbert’s Way and the Borders Abbeys Way. Cyclists can relax knowing that their bikes are locked away securely overnight. Jedburgh is conveniently located on the A68, 1 hour 20 minutes from both Edinburgh and Newcastle, making it a suitable stop-over for guests travelling north and south. We would be delighted to welcome you to our unique home and look forward to offering the legendary Scottish Borders hospitality in our B & B.

Enjoy Historic Jedburgh Jedburgh houses a wealth of historical sites and architecture, including the 900 year old Jedburgh Abbey, Jedburgh Castle Jail, Mary Queen of Scots House, the Capon tree, which has stood for over 1000 years, and Hutton’s Unconformity, one of the most important geological sites in the world. There is also a lively calendar of local and community events with the highlight of the year being the Jethart Callant's Festival in July. Visitors can also enjoy The Jedburgh Pipe Band and Jedforest Instrumental Band concerts which take place at The Mercat Cross, next to the Jubilee Fountain as well as many other events through out the Summer months. Jedburgh is also handy for tourist attractions south of the border in Northumberland such as Hadrian Wall, Northumberland National Park, Holy island, Lindisfarne, Berwick Upon Tweed all within 1 1/2 hours drive away.
