This was a repeat stay for my 90 year old mother. Although she is very able, she needed a quiet, comfortable, clean space to relax in whilst visiting us. At Moelfre B&B she got this and more! She loves staying with Rhian, she is so helpful,...

The setting was beautiful countryside with Lowles hooting and swifts and swallows flying overhead. The host was friendly with a warm Welsh welcome and a cheerful smile.

A fresh, clean space in a new build close to the historical town of Machynlleth and the mountains of Snowdonia National Park. I have three rooms available, accommodating up to six people at any time. You are provided with Tea & Coffee making facilities, bedding and towels and toiletries. In the morning, a continental breakfast is on offer, do let me know if you have any dietary requirement. **Note: Due to the size of my establishment, I do not provide a cooked breakfast option.
I have lived in the Machynlleth area throughout my life. I was brought up on a working farm some five miles up in the mountains of Aberhosan. I moved to Glantwymyn at the start of 2019, and decided that setting up a B&B would be the perfect way of meeting new people and keeping myself busy now that my "kids" are all grown up. I am a fluent Welsh speaker, I love to bake and I can read 'til the sun comes up. I'm really looking forward to this next chapter in my life.
Cemmaes Road (or Glantwymyn in Welsh) is a quiet village, there is a lovely old pub a short walking distance away, The Dovey Inn, and a tiny little shop next door to the pub for your necessities.
