On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys we require guest verification, which is provided by Superhog. Upon confirming your booking, Superhog will reach out to the lead booker through a secure link, providing detailed instructions for verification. The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay. Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

Hillside Cottage is a charming 18th-century period cottage in picturesque Bourton-on-the-Hill, only a few minutes drive from popular Moreton-in-Marsh. With four king size bedrooms, a sofa-bed, and two modern bathrooms, it comfortably sleeps 9 and is perfect for groups of friends or large families. The characterful cottage has exposed beams throughout, and beautiful Cotswold stone as an internal feature. Recently renovated and furnished to a high standard, the spacious home has modern facilities, giving a contemporary classic feel. Our beautiful cottage is only a few minutes drive from popular Moreton-in-Marsh and is a fantastic base from which to explore all the Cotswolds has to offer. We have renovated the cottage throughout, whilst maintaining the majority of its original features. The downstairs layout allows for plenty of cooking and socialising space all year round, with a large reception room, a fully equipped kitchen including large dining table. Outside, the garden has a patio and outdoor furnishing, suitable for both drinks and dining. There is also a large modern BBQ for guests to use. Guests will have access to the whole property, including exclusive use of the garden. The short path to the garden is shared with our neighbours. Comfortably sleeping 9 guests, with four bedrooms, all king size beds, plus one large sofa bed. All bedrooms come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, and fluffy towels for each guest. There is a stunning family bathroom and separate en-suite in the master bedroom. As this is a traditional Cotswold cottage, there are some low beams and steep stairs, so please be careful. Well behaved pets are allowed on request. Please give details when making your booking to enable us to determine if they are suitable for the property. There is an additional fee per pet, available on request.

Supermarkets There is a convenience store at Cotswolds Service Station, a 2 minute drive up the hill from the cottage. Co-op in Moreton in Marsh, less than 10 mins away by car. Local Restaurants 300 meters up the hill is a great gastro pub, The Horse & Groom. Moreton in Marsh has a great selection of cafes and restaurants including Locojos Pizza who will also deliver and a very popular fish and chip shop, Moreton Wine Merchants for a date or a wine tasting. Blockley Cafe is close by, which also opens in the evening and does take-away. Also close are Shipston-on-Stour and Chipping Campden that have great cafes, restaurants and bars. Local Attractions Batsford Arboretum and Cotswold Farm Park are close by Nearby towns and villages worth visiting include Stow on the Wold, Chipping Campden and Stratford-upon-Avon is less than 20 miles away Lots of great options for walks are shown in the books on the coffee table.
