A fully furnished private annex located next to our house on one of the main scenic routes through the iconic Brecon Beacons. Outside you will have access to a small secluded private garden and wood burner. Inside your modern first floor bedroom and living area is equipped with a sofa, king size bed, TV, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee facilities, along with a bathroom with large shower downstairs. Your apartment has its own private entrance so you can come and go as you please. Situated within the Brecon Beacons National Park, our small hamlet of Glangrwyney is conveniently located between the bustling market town of Abergavenny and the award winning historic village of Crickhowell. The area is blessed with breath-taking walks and landscapes, historic castles and monuments, including the White Lady, our resident ghost at Tretower Court and Castle. We are also blessed with a diverse range of high quality places to eat and drink to suit all tastes including our very own vineyard! We welcome walkers and cyclists. Your bike and equipment will be stored safely.
Check-in is usually be arranged from 4pm, however if you would like to check in EARLIER THAN 4pm, please send us a message in advance of booking, so that we can make sure we can accommodate your request. We try to do our best to source local environmentally products and local energy so you can feel confident you are limiting the harm to the environment when you visit us. You will find some a small range of locally sourced refreshment in your room. For a more substantial breakfast, there are plenty of cafes to choose as we are in walking distances from award winning Crickhowell and a short distance from the bustling market town of Abergavenny. Simon and Sam are your hosts in the Brecon Beacons.
Glangrwyney is a quaint hamlet with a pub and village hall in walking distance of the award winning village of Crickhowell with it's independent shops, pubs and places to eat. Glangrwyney is surrounded by a variety of historic villages, castles and monuments. This includes the castles in Crickhowell and Abergavenny, the nearby Tretower Court and Castle and the Sugar Loaf Vineyard. Further out, you have the entire Brecon Beacons to explore, either with your own transport, public transport or on foot. It is a great base to fully explore this unique and beautiful area.
