Located in Ord and only 34 km from Kyle of Lochalsh, Riverview B&B provides accommodation with sea views, free WiFi and free private parking. The property features mountain and river views, and is 48 km from Eilean Donan Castle. The property is non-smoking and is situated 15 km from Museum of the Isles. The bed and breakfast comes with a flat-screen TV. Towels and bed linen are featured in the bed and breakfast. Additional in-room amenities include chocolates or cookies. The room is located on the first floor so unsuitable for those with mobility issues. Breakfast is served in the hosts kitchen, although there will be just yourself for breakfast. No other guests stay in this part of our home. I will provide a menu for you to let me know your breakfast requirements. You'll also have the use of our upstairs lounge with Sky TV and stunning views out to Loch Eishort and The Cuillin mountain ranges (however, the host and 2 cats do use this room at times). There is tea, coffee and water provided in the room along with an ensuite shower room with complimentary body wash. There is free parking at the property and wifi is available. We are down a single track road which is very quiet and the most traffic you will encounter will be the cows and sheep. There are regular passing places. Ord really is the gold standard of relaxation after a long days exploration. There is a fantastic pub 6 miles away serving great food alongside several other eateries in Broadford some 15 miles away.
I have only lived on Skye for 18 months so I am still exploring myself! I am also new to hosting however I've spent a significant time working in hospitality and complex care and so sociability is a prominent feature of my personality. I love meeting people and I'll greet you with the biggest smile! I'm also happy to respect your privacy.
Located on the beautiful Sleat Peninsular, Ord is a haven of relaxation away from the busy North of the Island. We are located 4 miles down a single track road and just meters from Ord beach where the paddling and wild swimming are great options. There are regular kayak trips launching from here via South Sea Kayaks. There are several great things to do and see on the South of the Island, yet we are still within 1 hour of Portree and within easy driving distance of the more famous attractions. There are a couple of small shops and some eateries/cafes in the vicinity, and the main shops, pubs, cafes etc are in Broadford, some 15 miles away. This really is a get away from it all place and guests love the peace and quiet that Riverview offers. If you want to stay in the midst of the busy tourist hubs then Ord will not be for you, however if its peace, tranquillity and relaxation you seek yet still be within easy distance of amenities then this is the place for you.
