Roger Ground has 3 guest rooms available on a "room only" basis and the Studio Apartment bookable on a "self-catering" basis.
The guest accommodation block is attached to our private residence and was built in 2016/2017 and opened for business in 2018.
We have been in the accommodation business in Windermere and Bowness for over a dozen years and look forward to welcoming guests old and new to our new venture.
Marina and Martin Morris have lived in Windermere for over 15 years and Martin's family have been based in Grasmere since 1903 !
We know the Lake District really well and are happy to provide any help and advice on things to do and see locally to make your stay more special.
Windermere is an ideal base to explore all of the Lake District National Park which is now a "World Heritage Site". Most attractions in the area are less than an hour away by car and there are mini-bus tours and public transport available if you do not want to drive/have come to the district by train.
