Sanctuary Cottage is situated in Anstruther, only a minute from the harbour where there are bars, restaurants and shops. This beautiful townhouse is very spacious and can sleep 6 in the 3 large bedrooms with a lovely log burner fire in the living room!

We are a couple who in 2016 bought our own apartment in Anstruther and started holiday letting. We absolutely loved welcoming guests in our part of the world and giving recommendations about the area that we decided to expand our business in 2020 and welcome more holiday let’s in the area to our management service. We wouldn’t want to live anywhere else in the world and love exploring our local area and Scotland, discovering new things all the time. We have a very informative welcome folder in each of our properties to ensure you have all of the information you’ll need to make your stay as enjoyable and relaxing as possible, this includes information about the house itself but also the surrounding area.

Anstruther is a quaint, historic, fishing village situated in the picturesque East Neuk of Fife. This part of the world is a wonderful place for a holiday or a well-deserved short break. The villages of Cellardyke, Pittenweem, St Monans, Elie and Crail are all within easy reach and only a short distance along the coast. The historic university town of St Andrews, which is famous as the home of golf, is only nine miles away. The local area caters for many interests including hiking, walking, cycling, golf, watersports, sea angling and local boat trips. There is also much to see for anyone with an interest in the arts or history. Alternatively if you want a more lazy time, the area has some beautiful beaches and wonderful restaurants and cafes. The property is situated on the Fife Coastal Path which stretches from the Forth Bridge in the South to the Tay Bridge in the North: this path follows a scenic route and provides some wonderful walking. There are a large number of fine golf courses including championship courses all close by. This part of Fife boasts a number of excellent restaurants and pubs to suit all tastes and budgets within easy reach of the holiday accommodation.
