Homely 3 bedroom house in a central location to local amenities. The perfect base for your island adventure.
Wake up to the sound of the corncrake and the smell of peat fires and enjoy beautiful views over the distant South Uist Hill. We enjoy Island life as there is so much adventure to be had from walking the hills to our beautiful sandy beaches, bird watching, Sea trekking and much more, Myself and my family enjoy exploring the islands, walking and the amazing hospitality the islands give to all
Balivanich has so much to offer and is a prefect base to your Hebridean retreat. Enjoy local amenities like MacLennans award winning village store, Stepping Stone Restaurant, Airport Café, The Low Flyer, Post Office, Gift Shops, Hire bikes or a snorkelling excursion with Tom. Beautiful Culla Bay and the Airport Beach they are only a few minutes walk away. White sandy beaches next to the changing colours of the Atlantic Ocean. Spot St Kilda and the Monarch Isles and book boat trips with Uist sea tours, Balivanich is surrounded by a multitude of fishing lochs. Ancient ruins at Nunton as well as Rossinish (Beaker Settlement) and Liniclate can be explored, will you find Viking treasure? or will you find old bottles of whiskey, hidden down a rabbit hole, long forgotten after the SS Politician sank off Eriskey? Uist also offers its own Gin by North Uist Distillery co.
